Jobcard and the GDPR

Jobcard (jobcard.tech) is operated by Jobcard by IAIG (Inevitable AI Group) ("Inevitable AI Group", "IAIG", "we", "us"), an Israeli company. This page is for people whose personal data is protected by the GDPR or the UK GDPR. Jobcard is sold to field-service shops in the United States. This page still applies where those laws apply to data we process.

Roles

Whose dataControllerProcessor
A shop's customers, jobs, quotes and invoicesThe shopJobcard
Account, billing and website data about the shop's users and about visitorsJobcardThe providers in the Privacy Policy
  • Each shop is the controller of its customers' personal data. The shop decides what to collect and which notices to give.
  • Jobcard is the processor of that data. We process it to provide the service, on the shop's instructions, under the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement.
  • We are the controller of account, billing and website data about the shop's owners, staff and technicians, and about visitors to jobcard.tech.

If you are a shop's customer, contact that shop first. We will help the shop answer you.

Data we process

The categories are the same as in our Privacy Policy: account data, shop business data, customer and job data the shop enters, subscription billing status, invoice payment status, AI assistant content, and usage data such as pages, IP address and error logs. Texting is coming. Texting is not active yet.

We do not intentionally collect government identity numbers or health information. Shops should not put that in Jobcard.

Legal bases we rely on as controller

Where we are the controller, we rely on:

  • Contract, to provide the subscription the shop asked for;
  • Legitimate interests, to keep the service secure, fix faults, and understand how the product is used, in the way the Cookie Policy describes, balanced against the person's rights;
  • Legal obligation, where a law requires us to keep a record.

Rights

Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR gives you these rights, you may ask to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it.
  • Restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, including product analytics.
  • Receive a portable copy of data you gave us, where the right applies.
  • Withdraw consent, where processing was based on consent.
  • Complain to a supervisory authority. You can also complain to the authority where you live.

Email legal@jobcard.tech. We may need to confirm who you are. If the data is a shop's customer record, we pass the request to that shop and help it respond, including with the export and delete tools in the product. We do not charge a fee unless the law allows one because a request is unfounded or excessive. We answer without undue delay and inside the time the law gives.

Transfers

We are based in Israel. Our providers operate mainly in the United States and in other countries where their services run. Where a transfer out of the EEA or the United Kingdom needs a transfer tool, the Data Processing Agreement incorporates the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (module two, controller to processor) and the UK addendum where the UK GDPR applies. Each shop's records sit in that shop's own database schema, as the Security page describes.

Retention

We keep data while the shop's account is active. After the shop cancels, it can export for 30 days, and we delete after 30 days, except backups, which roll off within 30 days. The details match the Privacy Policy.
