Jobcard Cookie Policy
Jobcard (jobcard.tech) is operated by Jobcard by IAIG (Inevitable AI Group) ("Inevitable AI Group", "IAIG", "we", "us"), an Israeli company. This policy says what the site stores in the browser, and why.
A cookie is a small file the browser stores. A first-party cookie is set by jobcard.tech. A third-party cookie is set by another domain. Some storage is not a cookie at all: local storage and session storage stay on the device.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell data from cookies, and we do not use them for cross-context advertising. There is no advertising pixel on the site.
Strictly necessary
These are required to sign in or to finish a connection the shop started:
| Name | Who sets it | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Supabase | Keeps you signed in after Google sign-in or an emailed code | For that session |
| jobcard_qbo_connect | Jobcard | Tie a QuickBooks connection back to the browser that started it. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, sent only to the QuickBooks callback path | Removed when the connection finishes, or shortly after it starts |
| jobcard_gcal_connect | Jobcard | The same, for a Google Calendar connection | Removed when the connection finishes, or shortly after it starts |
Analytics
When product analytics is on, PostHog may store an identifier in a cookie and in local storage so a signed-in user's visits can be counted. Analytics is off on customer-facing links (a customer's track, pay, quote or review page) and in automated browsers. Autocapture of clicks is off. Session replay masks on-screen text and blocks images. Page addresses are stored without the query, the hash, or a customer-link token.
If analytics is off for a deployment, PostHog is not loaded and sets nothing.
Local storage
The app also uses the browser's local storage and session storage on the device for preferences, for remembering a session or a draft during sign-up, and for the marketing page's visit source (the landing path and any utm tags) for that tab. That storage stays on the device. It is not an advertising profile.
Cookieless counts
In a production build, Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without setting a cookie. It does not run in development.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in the browser. Sign-in and connecting QuickBooks or Google Calendar need the strictly necessary cookies above.
- Use the browser's storage controls to clear local storage.
- Email legal@jobcard.tech if you want product analytics turned off for your account.
